House. C17, early C19. Walls of ironstone, the south-east part having stone
quoins, plinth, hoodmoulds and moulded mullioned window frames, elsewhere there are
brick quoins, cambered arches, thin 1st floor band, plinth: gable wall of brickwork
in Monk bond. 2 attached tapered chimney stacks of brickwork in English bond, one
with a blue diamond pattern. Tile roof. North-east front elevation is broken by a
projecting gabled staircase unit, 2 storeys and basement, 2.1.2 above 1.0.2 windows.
casements. Boarded door in a plain frame. A brick band in the staircase unit
rises above the window and encloses a stone plaque inscribed 1685: another stone
plaque at the east side has a raised l.c 1675. Other elevations are similar and
there is a small C20 flat-roofed lobby built onto the north-west end.
