9/13 Cheesecombe Farmhouse
House. C18, with early C20 extensions and restoration. Walls of brickwork in
Flemish bond, the upper section with blue headers, cambered openings, plinth above
malmstone base, rear extensions of malmstone with brick dressings. Tile roof,
brick dentil eaves. A building of C17 origin, but with recladding of the walls,
and substantial C20 additions; south front of 2 storeys, 5 windows. Casements, one
occupying a filled doorway. Interior: main beams of C17, a large chimney-breast of
the C17, and a small one of the C18.
