House. C16, C17 and late C19. Oldest walls of close-studded framing, with iron-
stone and some rendered infill, later walls (upper part) of bricknogged C17 framing
above brickwork in Monk bond, all above an ironstone plinth: last phase of carstone
rubble with stone and brick quoins and cambered arches. Gabled tiled roof, with
decorative bargeboards to 2 north gables, and all gables tile-hung. L-shaped
2-storeyed timber-framed building, with late c19 additions; north front with 2
gables at the east side, the set-back west side ending in a bay. The rear shows
3 large gables of different projection, with windows mainly centred on the gables.
Casements, and a 3/4 octagon of 2 storeys with hipped roof at the west corner. Late
C19 timber-framed porch on a stone base, with double 12-glazed doors; plain doors at
the rear.
