9/29 Gateway to Ashford Chace
Former barn, now used for garage and stores, with the central wagon entrance formed
as a through gateway. C18, converted 1912. Timber frame of five bays with aisles
on three sides, straight struts to purlins and tie-beams. Walls of coursed malm-
stone with brick dressings. Tile roof, half-hipped at ends, catslide at the rear,
hipped above the projecting wagon entrances. Casements.
