Row of cottages and shop. C19 of 2 builds, altered C20. Brick, some areas
rebuilt in yellow brick, to shop part tilehanging under eaves and on gable,
plain tile roof. l½ storey, 4 bay along road with 2 storey, 3 bay wing to
rear. Front has shop in wider bay to LH of 1/2-glazed door under gauged arch
near end and large 6-light transomed shop window, with blind-box. Over
moulded string and tilehung band, and 2-light gabled dormer on roof with
bargeboards. LH of centre bay has 1/2 glazed segmental head door and 2-light
casement under eaves. Straight joint in centre with mainly yellow bricks
to RH. RH of centre bay has plank segmental head door. RH bay has large
rectangular hip-roofed bow window and 2-light casement with head in gabled
dormer. Roof has higher ridge to LH bay, and overhangs tilehung LH gable,
having bargeboards. Central large ridge stack and stack on ridge of wing
behind LH bay.
