8.10.59 Farmhouse. (formerly listed as
outbuildings at St Leonard's
Farmbuildings around courtyard. Early C19. Red brick with yellow brick
dressings, old plain tile roof. U-shaped farm range and separate building
forming 4th side. Centre part of U-shaped side has in middle 2 storey
pavilion with off-centre opening on ground floor and 2-light window on 1st
floor, hipped roof and hip-roofed cupola. Each side single storey 3 bay
ranges with stable doors. Other wings of 6 bays with stable doors, double
doors and some slated window. Separate building of 1½ storey, 5 bays.
Similar openings and loft doors on ends. Though plain and unpretentious,
these buildings form a pleasant group with the adjacent medieval
