GV II

House, now an hotel. Early C19, with late C19 extensions. Walls of
brickwork in Flemish bond, 1st and second floor bands, rubbed flat arches,
stone cills, brick dentil eaves. Hipped tile roof. North-east symmetrical
elevation of 3 storeys, 7 windows, with single storeyed wings (late C19) of
1 storey 3 bays extending forward at each side. Sashes in reveals. Large
brick porch. The wings and porch have yellow brick pilasters supporting a
plain yellow brick frieze. The south west elevation is symmetrical with a
pediment/gable above a slightly projecting centrepiece, and lower (late,
C19) wings at each side, of two storeys, 3:2.1.2:3 windows. Sashes, the
main blocks have large splayed bays on the ground-floor, the central one
with a French window.
