Pair of semi-detached cottages. Mid C19 by Cadland Estate. Yellow brick,
slate roof. 1 1/2 storey, 4 bays with paired gabled projections to centre
bays, symmetrical. Each cottage has 2-light cast iron casements under
hood-moulds, in centre bay projections, which have bargeboards. On outer
sides are open lean-to porches with trellised sides, sheltering 6-panel
door in outer bay. Raised quoins to corners of building. Large central
ridge stack of 4 shafts with joined head. Building part of important group
around village square.
