Stables and coachhouse block, now part of hospital premises. Mid C19, with
minor C20 extension. Walls of painted brickwork in Flemish bond, plinth,
rusticated corners, moulded first floor band, moulded eaves with brick
dentils, cambered arches, stone cills on brackets, hipped slate roof.
South west symmetrical front with projecting ends and centre, of two
storeys. 1.1.3.1.1 above 2.1..2 arch windows. The centrepiece is gabled
above blind arch, and the carriage opening below (now altered to two
doorways) is cambered. Sashes in reveals. The north elevation is not
symmetrical and without projections, with irregular fenestration. Above
the centre of the building is a clock turret, with an open arcade of eight
short columns supporting a plain hipped roof.
