Battery Company Ltd

House now offices. Early C18 altered C20. Rendered brick old plain tile roof.
End onto road, 2 storey and attic, 5 bay, outshot on one side. Front has central
6-panel door under 3-light rectangular fanlight. 12-pane sashes. 1st floor
raised band that runs round road end. Stepped eaves cornice. On roof 2 C20
flat-roofed 3-light dormers. Outshot has C20 plate-glass windows in end and
on side. Some C18 features internally such as doors and some panelling.
Important building as was first building in Totton after Redbridge Causeway
on Southampton to Totton Road.
