House. C18 with early and mid C19 extension. Walls of brickwork in Flemish bond, flush blue first floor band, brick dentil eaves, rendered at the rear. Hipped tile roof.

West front elevation formerly symmetrical of two storeys and attic three windows, extended at the north end in similar form, by one window. Sashes in exposed frames, two mid C19 splayed. Ground floor bays, with hipped roof and casements (French doors in the centre of the south side bays). Stucco porch with blocking course above a cornice (of Greek mouldings) side windows, plain doorway and half-glazed double doors; C20 half-glazed porch at the north side.

The east elevation (overlooking the wide River Test) is less regular, with a centre of large projection with rounded end containing a Regency metal balcony with concave hood, rails to the first floor, thin supports, enclosing wide windows (with central French doors).
