House,divided into flats.Late C18,with minor C20 extensions.Walls of yellow brickwork in Flemish bond(headers to curves),the rear part of similar appearance but in mathematical tiles.Hipped tile roof,slate to the wings.Symmetrical east front of three storeys with semi-circular bays at each side,flanked by single-storey service wings,One.Three.One.Three.One windows.Stucco base,rubbed flat arches and central round arches with plaster cover,parapet with stone coping and cornice with stone band above brick dentils;the wings have pediment gables with stone above brick coping,recessed arch with circular motifs above rectangular window opening;linked to the main block by a recessed wall.Sashes(curved)in reveals to the bays,triple sashes to the wings,arched heads to the central sashes(at intermediate levels).Semi-circular Doric porch on moulded stone steps,with triglyphes,fluted pilasters and columns(with circular heads and bases),architrave and six-panelled(two top-glazed)door.The rear(west)elevation asymmetrical,of three storeys three windows,central two storeyed arched recess,and single storeyed recesses at each side.Sashes,triple to the ground floor at each side,C20 casements to the second floor.The wings are masked by C20 extensions.Inside the entrance hall contains the original plain staircase,one ground floor room has a fine ceiling cornice,and there are folding shutters and panelled doors in architraves.
