Publio house. Late C15, altered C18 & C20. Cruck timber-frame with brick infill
and refronting, front then given false framework and render, thatch roof. 1½
storey, 3 bay, smoke bay and added bay. Front has plank door under thatch hood on
posts in LH bay and 2nd bay from RH. Smoke bay and 2nd bay from LH 1,2 or 3-light
casements. Above 4 probably C18 2 or 3-light eyebrow dormers. All windows have
leaded lights. Roof half-hipped with stack above smoke bay and external stack to
RH end. Large C20 additions to rear for bars and restaurant.
