5/16 Rockford Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Late C18, extended C19. Brick, part rendered, thatch roof, later wing
slate. 2 storey, 3 bay, at one end, 2 storey, low pitch-roof, 3 bay addition
projecting forward. Front has central gabled ½-glazed timber porch. Inside 6-
panel top-lit door. Each side wide 2-light casement under rubbed arch. 1st floor
has similar, but plastered blind opening in centre. End stacks. Wing to LH has on
side and end segmental head openings filled by shutters. On 1st floor 2-light
casements and door on end. Roof hipped.
