2/6 Gorley Green Cottage

GV II

Cottage. C17 altered and extended C20. Timber-frame with plaster infill (some
painted brick, thatch roof. 1½ storey, L-shape of 3 bay with lower C20 wing to
front of LH bay. Front has half-glazed door under swept-down hood on posts, to
RH of centre bay. Small light in RH bay and 2-light casement in centre. End of
wing blank as given buttress wall. Side has C20 windows. Above centre and RH
bay 2-light eyebrow dormer. Roof half-hipped with ridge stack above door.
