Range of cottages, now all but no88 are shops. Late C18 and early C19 altered
C19 and C20. Roughcast cob and brick, thatch roof. Nos. 88 and 90 are probably
early C19, 2 storeys, 2 bays each, on plinth. LH cottage (88) has 4-panel door
above 2 steps and 3 irregular 2-light casements. Other has early C20 shop-front
and glazed door under fascia which extends to RH shops. Over blank panel and
2-light. To RH next 2 cottages probably C18, 1½ storey each 2 bays, higher ridge.
To each early C20 shop-fronts of shop-windows either side of central door. 3 eye-
brow dormers with 2-light casements. The roof of these 4 cottages is hipped with
stacks on LH end and on ridge between RH cottages. To LH end low 2-storey early
C19 extension with sash. Low-pitched half-hipped tile roof.
