Pair of cottages and attached shop. C17, altered C18 and C20 with C20 shop
attached. Timber-frame with brick infill, painted, thatch and plain tile roof,
added shop rendered brick and pantile roof. 2 storey 5 bay with 3 smoke or
passage bays. RH cottage has RH end smoke bay and bay then passage bay, another
bay and plank door in end of next bay (rest of bay is other cottage. C20 windows
with night vents in 2 bays. LH cottage has rest of shared bay, a bay, passage bay
and another bay. Plank door in passage bay. 2-light casements in bays either
side and 1st floor of shared bay. Roof hipped to LH. Large stack over shared bay
and stack at RH end. Shop is lean-to at LH end with shop-window.
