Rectory, now offices. Mid C18, altered C19 and early C20. Brick, rendered plinth
and ends, old plain tile roof. 2 storey and attic, 5 bay with 3 bay wing to rear
at one end along churchyard and short wing to rear at other end. Front has slightly
projecting central bay, having 6-panel door and 2-light rectangular fanlight deeply
recessed in panelled reveal. Painted stone doorcase of fluted Doric pilasters,
with part pilasters on outer sides, full entablature follows round part pilasters.
To RH large early C20 flat-roofed cented bay, with transomed windows, stained glass
in upper part. To LH windows are C20 cross windows in original opening under
rubbed arch. On 1st floor 5 C18 12-pane sashes under rubbed arches with C19 louvred
sun-blind. Over moulded brick cornice and parapet with stone coping, with cornice
and parapet carried round centre bay. 3 pedimented dormers with 4-light sashes.
Steep-pitched hipped roof. Stacks on hips. Inside some C18 features survive,
although much is C19. Room to LH of door has C18 panelling. On LH end has painted
C18 lead downpipe with cast lead masks at joints.
