15/17 The Jubilee Lamp

GV II

Lamp standard, 1887 for Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee, restored 1977. On stone
plinth, cast-iron with copper lanterns. Large base rises to bowl now filled with
concrete that used to be drinking fountain. From centre rises standard that has
5 branches to 5 lanterns.
