Hotel (connected to No 4). C18 core, altered C19. Brick, painted on ground floor,
tile hung on 1st floor, plain tile roof with toothed ridge tiles, to rear C19
weatherboard and slate additions. 2 storey, 5 irregular bay, to rear of one half
large C19 weatherboard range, to rear of other half, and running behind bay of No 4,
on iron columns. 1st floor C19 similar range. Front has in RH of centre bay,
above 2 steps,C19 Ionic porch of 2 pilasters and 2 columns supporting broken cornice
and open pediment, under 6-panel door. In centre bay 6-panel door in doorcase with
cut brackets supporting flat hood. Each side sash. End bays have C19 canted bay
with sash on each face, that to RH has plinth with segmental head opening to cellar.
Tripartite sash in LH of centre bay. On 1st floor paired sash window to LH of
centre and tripartite sash in centre. Higher roof to RH bay with gabled wall. To
LH roof runs on, with slight rise in ridge to No 4. LH of centre ridge stack.
