Stableblock, now offices. Mid C18, altered early C20. Brick in header bond, blue
brick, stone dressings, slate roof. End onto road, facing lane, one storey and
attic, 3 wide bays with centre bay projecting. Centre bay of blue bricks, has tall
rusticated stone arched opening and tympanum of timber with laid-on Gothic
interlacing. Under in place of double doors is C20 bow window on brick plinth. Over
modillioned pediment, in tympanum bulleye window with intersecting glazing bars in
stone architrave with raised key and flat sill. Flanking bays have stone Venetian
window with round headed sashes. Each side flush blue brick pilasters. Dentil
cornice and rusticated stone quoins. Roof hipped with pedimented 9-pane dormer
above flanking bays and on ridge. Central octagonal cupola on square base with
ogee dome surmounted by weathervane.
