GV II

Courtyard wall. 1891 by W R Lethaby. Brick, stone dressings. Wall starts off
from either end of projecting wings of house (qv) with archway in brick and stone
with gabled piers, and length of wall with large bow. Diagonally-set brick and stone
gatepiers on far corner. Far wall has central archway of arch with pier each side
having stone shield, over gable with wavy coping and finial. Each side small bow
in wall.
