4/5 Milestone opposite junction
with track to
Kites Nest Farm

Milestone. Mid C18. Tall standing stone. Square plan stone with
hipped top. On front face inscription: 'XIX Miles from Poole Gate,
III Miles from Cranborn.' This stone is on old turnpike from Salisbury
to Poole via Cranborn and Wimborne.
