Farmhouse. Late C15, extended C16, remodelled C18. Timber-frame with painted
brick infill, some plaster panels, painted brick rebuilding. 1 1/2 and 2 storey,
road front 2 C16 bays, smoke bay between, wider rebuilt C18 bay at one end, and
behind this end onto road 2 C15 bays and C18 bay at far end. Front 2 storey,
3 bay and smoke bay. C18 bay to RH with 2-light casement in frame of door and
3-light casement. 2 or 3-light casement in other bays. Above LH bay 2-light
eyebrow dormers, over other C16 bay two 2-light casements under what starts as an
eyebrow dormer and then rises up to higher eaves level of RH bay. RH bay has
1st floor string, and 2-light casement and blind opening. Roof hipped and
swept-down over outshot. Ridge stack over smoke bay. At RH end large external
stack with moulded head.
