GV II

Balustrade. Wall and quadrant walls. Late C18, possibly C19. Stone and walls
brick. Low balustrade wall encloses the forecourt, starting with 4m length with
small central pier, then larger squat piers to low C19 gates, and in centre 3
more 4m sections between squat piers. At each end of balustrade wall is 3m high
quadrant walls, starting from corner of pavilions, running for 5m to pier, then
piers every 10m. In between high-set lunette windows. Walls have cornice and
coping. Behind walls service buildings.
