GV II

Farmhouse, once manor house. Early C17 altered and extended C18 and C19. Brick,
stone dressings to older part, plain tile roof. L-shaped plan of 3 bay, 2 storey
and attic house, end on to road, 3 bay wing added to one side at road end, other
side outshot towards far end. Road front has to LH gable of C17 part. Later
wing has to LH open gabled timber porch, under 6-panel door. 2 or 3-light camber
head casement. Straight joint to gable, Flight stone mullioned window on ground
and 1st floor, single light in gable. 1st floor raised band. C20 glazed timber
lean-to on LH side in front of C18 outshot. Large stack on LH roof face of old
part, and stack at RH end.
