12/1 West House

House. Late C18/early C19, altered C19. Brick front with stone quoins,
sides brick and flint bays, slate roof. 2 storey, 3 x 3 bay. Front has
central 4-panel door and semi-circular fanlight with radiating glazing
bars, under flat hood on posts. Each side 16-pane sash under rubbed
brick arch. On 1st floor 3 smaller 16-pane sashes. All windows with
later Roman cement architraves. Wide eaves to low pitch hipped roof and
end stacks on front bays of sides.
