Barn originally chapel. C13, altered C17 and C19. Rubble flint and
stone, stone dressings, brick repairs, slate roof. 4 bay building,
approximately on east-west axis. West bay rebuilt C17 and appears to
have been 2 storeys. Lean-to shed on its south side. East end repaired
C19, but C15 quatrefoil in gable. On north cinquefoiled headed doorway,
each side pointed lancet with rectangular window over. Gabled walls.
Inside roof probably C19 queen-strut roof. Scheduled Ancient Monument.
