6/106 Granary at Hale Farm


Granary. Late C18. Timber frame with weatherboard cladding (partly tarred) on
stone staddles; plain tile roof. 2 bays, with loft over. 3 x 3 staddle
stones. Central board door. Half-hipped roof. Right return has a covered
window. Interior: board-lined; ladder up to loft); roof has purlins supporting
staggered rafters; ridge-piece; straight wind braces.
