SU 21 SE BRAMSHAW BROOK

4/8 Popes Cottage

GV II

Cottage. C18 altered C19. Brick, thatch roof. 1½ storey, 2 bay with outshot
hip bays each end, wing to rear to one side of centre. Front has central plank
door under tiled, gabled hood on posts. Each side 3-light casement under
segmental head and 2-light similar in end bays. Above, either side of centre
2-light eyebrow dormer. Roof hipped and swept-down either end. Central ridge
stack.
