SU 21 SW BRAMSHAW FRITHAM

3/1 Fritham Lodge

House. 1671 on tablet. Painted render, slate roof. 2 storey and attic, 3
wide bays with gabled central bay. Front has in centre of central bay, ½-glazed
door. Each side C19 hip-roofed canted bay. Flanking bays have tripartite french
windows. On 1st floor above canted bays, 12-pane sash, and in flanking bays
Palladian window. Low parapet to flanking bays rising to central gable, which
has two 9-pane sashes, and in centre dated tablet. Ridge stacks each side of
centre bays. May have been one of Charles II Hunting Lodges.
