GV II

Lodge. Early C19 altered late C20. Painted brick, rustic tree trunk verandah,
thatch roof, brick stack. Cottage orne style of 1½ storey lozenge shaped plan
with C20 additions under verandah on side and beyond it on far end, positioned
end onto drive with side onto main road hidden by hedge. End onto drive has ½
glazed door, on faces each side pointed 2-light diamond-pane casements, replaced
C20. Similar casements on sides under verandah which runs all round. Hipped
roof with hipped dormers with similar casements, central stack. C20 addition
hidden under verandah on side against hedge and running out beyond far end.
Historically connected with the Irishman Cahill and the Agrarian Riots.
