Milestone. C18. Painted stone. Square plan with hipped top, set diagonally
onto road, inscribed on both front faces, 'II MILES to LYNDHURST' and'VI MILES
to, LYMINGTON'. On route of the Lymington, Lyndhurst and Rumbridge Turnpike of
1756.
