Cottage. Mid C19,C20 addition. Scantling timber-frame with brick infill,
plain tile roof. 1½ storey, L-shaped, with main original part of 2 bays end
onto road and on one side of far bay, wing that is mainly C20. End of older
part has 2-light cast-iron lattice-glazed casement on both floors and M in
timber in the gable, standing for Morant. Sides have central gabled hood to
door and each side similar casement with gabled dormer rising from wallplate
with over-hanging roof and similar casement. Ornamental stack at far end.
On RH side of far bay single storey 2 bay wing having C20 projecting gabled
wing and copy of other stack on ridge in centre.
