10/11 The Thatched Cottage
Restaurant

GV II

Cottage, now restaurant. C16, altered C18 and C19. Timber-frame with brick
infill and refronting, thatched roof. 1½ storey, 3 bay with C20 addition to
rear. Front has C20 ½-glazed door under cambered arch in centre.
Large C19 2-light segmental head casement in LH bay. RH bay has exposed frame.
At end 2-light casement between 2 sloping buttresses. Above RH and centre bays
C19 3-light eyebrow dormers. Roof ½-hipped with ridge stack to RH of centre and
stack at LH end.
