Cottage. C17 altered mid C19. Timber-frame with brick infill, some herringbone
pattern, thatch roof. 1½ storey, 2 bay cottage with added 1½ storey C19 porch.
Front has slightly RH of centre porch with archway and raised band at springing
level. Over timber-frame 1st floor with 2-light cast-iron lattice-glazed
casement and ½-hipped roof. Each side 2-light similar casement, and on wallplate
half-hipped dormer with 2-light cast-iron lozenge-glazed casement. Stacks each
end, that to RH external with bread-ovens.
