Small country house. 1911 , extended 1936 in matching
style. Pebbledash brick, thatch roof, brick stacks, 2 storey, originally
L-shaped, now U-shaped, with 4 bay range facing forest, 3 bay centre range and
5 bay added range facing entrance courtyard. Centre range overlooking garden
has to LH of centre bay on rubble stone plinth, timber porch under large hipped
roof. Beside buttress. To LH on both floors 4-light casements and outshot on
end with 3-light casement. In centre 3-light casements and to RH 6-light casements.
At RH end single casement under end of timber verandah (probably used for sleeping)
that runs along end bay of range overlooking forest. All windows leaded. Roof
hipped. Brick stacks on ridges of other ranges.
