SU 30 NW LYNDHURST BEECHAN LANE

7/5 Glenbervie

GV II

Cottage. Late C17 altered C18, extended C20. Timber-frame with plastered infill,
thatched roof, addition in painted brick and plain tile roof. End onto lane, 1½
storey, 2 bay with C20 ½-link bay and crosswing at far end. Front has plinth of
diminishing size. Between original bays doorway replaced by C20 bowed window. Each
side 2-light casement with similar over in eyebrow dormer. Link bay has porch of
outshot roof on posts over door on crosswing. Casements in end of crosswing. Roof
½-hipped. Roof stack between original bays.
