4/23 The Old Rectory

GV II

Rectory, now private house. Late C18, altered C19. Brick, slate roof,2 storey,
3 bay, double pile, added to one end at slight angle, lower 2 storey, 3 bay range.
Front has above 2 stone steps simple Doric porch. Under, large ½-glazed door.
To LH C19 narrow edge-pane sash under segmental head. To RH 12-pane sash.
On 1st floor 12-pane sashes under rubbed brick arches, and to LH of centre 2-
light casement. Stack at LH end and several ridge stacks to rear pile.
