SZ 29 NE SWAY FLEXFORD LANE

13/17 South Lodge

GV II

Lodge. Late C19 for A T T Peterson, much extended C20. Original part mass concrete
built in "lifts", extensions in rendered blockwork. Singe storey 3 x 2 bay
end onto (road with along road attached to rear)original outbuilding range.
Road end has C20 2-light window in each bay. At LH corner start of heavy cornice
that runs along 1st 2 bays in front. Roof hipped with central ridge stack.
Building probably would originally have had a flat concrete roof. To RH 3 bay
wing with concrete pilasters either side of centre bay, which has C20 window,
supported arched cornice over which continues horizontally over other bays.
