13/2 Forest Heath Hotel

Hotel. Circa 1885, constructed when railway to Bournemouth was built. Brick with
moulded brick features, plastered gables, plain tile roof. 2 storey and attic,
3 wide bays, low wing to rear. Front has to centre bay paired 3 cented gauged
arches. Inside each half glazed to end side panels and glazed panel over. Above
balcony with central timber posts with brackets supporting lintel. To RH 2 storey
canted bay with camber headed sashes on ground floor, wider sashes on 1st floor
and covered cornice. LH bay has on ground floor rectangular bay window with
rounded corners. Shavian style glazed end fascia. On 1st floor cambered-head
sash with apron and raised key. Above to centre and RH bays inverted M shaped
pair of plastered gables with pair of 5-light casements running right across with
round-headed centre lights and timber pilasters each end and in centre. On LH end
similar bay and pair of sashes on 1st floor. From 1st floor corner pilasters to
Dutch gable with wide attic casements and moulded sunflower panels over.
