Restored C16. 4 storeys. This building originally covered the whole
island site now occupied by two buildings. The aides and north front
are still in fairly original condition with plaster infilling to timber
framework. The front to High Street has been restored and is timber framed
for one half of the total front, and has two over-sailing gables shove
3-storeys projecting bays. Modern shop-fronts with modern diamond lattice
casements above. Tiled roof. East wing completely rebuilt externally
1960 but retains internal timbering.
