SU 53 SE ITCHEN STOKE AND OVINGTON ITCHEN STOKE

Cottage. C16, C18, C19. Timber-frame encased in brick with brick additions,
roof thatched. 2 bay C16 house with store bay added to left when encased in
brick C18, and 2 storey C19 wing to right. 4 bay 1½ and 2 storey front. C19
door to centre of C16 part with bay window to left and door to store at
left end. To right C19 casements. Above in C16 house, 2 eyebrow dormers with
tall C19 2-light casements and C19 casement to right. Roof hipped with ridge
piece. Stacks with offset heads to either side of C16 house with much higher
ridge to right over C19 bay with roof face sloped up with weatherbofirded
triangle between wall levels of the building.
