SU 53 SE ITCHEN STOKE AND OVINGTON ITCHEN STOKE

Cottage. Early C19 or earlier. Squared flint with brick dressings, dressings
and diaper work, roof thatched. 2 storey, 3 bay with 2 bay wing attached to
front of right bay and outshot room to centre bay. Door in porch at right of
outshot with casement to left. Wing gable end has timber 3-light oriel window
with tiled roof on each floor. Outshot to right side of wing. Roof has ridge
piece and is swept over outshot. Ridge stacks over left bay and first bay of
wing.
