8/11 Water Lane

Nos 153 & 154


Pair of cottages. Early C19. Rubble flint with brick dressings and bands,
roof old plain tiles. Behind and end on to 155/156. 1½ storeys, 5 bays
with door in centre. Either side 3-light casement with camber head and
blank end bays except for small pantry light at end. Above windows, small
gabled dormers to heads of tall 2-light casements. Roof has bargeboards and
large ridge stack at centre.
