House

II

School house with attached masters cottage. Circa 1850. Rendered brick,
tiled roof with decorated ridge tiles and brick stacks. Single storey 6
window range school house with on either side at centre bay large rendered
brick gabled porch with ornate bargeboards and hood mouldings to arch.
Windows 3-light mullioned and transomed, each with tiled pent roof on carved
brackets. Across left end, masters house with 3 window range in front, of 1½
storeys. Single storey centre porch of rendered brick with hood moulding
over arch and gabled roof, oversailing eaves and carved barge boards. Each
side 3-light casement with tiled pent roof on ornate brackets over and above
tall 3-light casements in gabled dormers with oversailing eaves and carved
bargeboards. All windows leaded. Roof steep pitched with gable end and off
centre ridge stack; 2 single and 2 double diamond stacks. Very picturesque
but-school room derelict.
