SU 53 NW MICHELDEVER WESTON COLLEY

5/3 Old Mill Cottage

Mill, now cottage. C16 or earlier, remodelled C.1965. Brick encased timber-
frame with thatched roof. Front 1½ storey, 4 bay. Right 2-bays outshot with
connected porch to left. Left bay over River Dever with C19 2 light case-
ment. Other bays have large C20 windows on both storeys. Rear has C18 2 & 3-
light casements with cambered heads and eyebrow dormers with C18 3-light
casements to left two bays. Originally mill in 2 bays and millers cottage in
other bays. All machinery removed.
