Coaching inn. C17, C18, early C19, C20. Roughcast with mock ½-timber and tile
roof. 2 storeys, 4 upper windows. Exposed ½ timber in the upper part, and 4
early C19 sashes to the 1st floor. The ground-floor has 3 angular bays with
cornices and sashes. Former carriage entrance is now filled with panels and
double doors, within a Tuscan surround, above which is a bow-shaped wrought-
iron grill with central ornamental bracket. To the south side (between 2 -
bays) is a Tuscan pilastered doorcase, with a 6-panelled door. Within, there
are remains of the original timber framing, with many C20 additions.
