Houses above shop-workshop (garage), from 2 earlier units. C18, early, mid &
late C19. Stucco, with tile roofing. 2 storeys, 3 (centre blank).2 windows.
Plain walling, dentil eaves to the north side. No 36 has 2 upper 3-light C18
sashes and 2 doorways (now windows) with moulded architraves : the other part
of the ground-floor has carriage openings with ½-glazed doors. No 38 has on
the 1st floor a C18 sash in reveals above a doorcase, then a large mid C19
window with round-headed panes, above a later C19 angular bay. The doorcase
has an open pediment, broken cornice, curved brackets, panelled pilasters and
a 2-panelled (boarded) door. No 36 has a massive stack at the north side, re-
vealed by the hipped roof above No 38.
