First a mill, then a warehouse, now a factory. 1873. Brick, asbestos roof.
3 storeys and attic. Symmetrical form, the gable ends of 3 windows, the sides
of 5. Pink/yellow stock brickwork with yellow brick dressings : plinth,
pilasters separating the bays with cambered heads at the top along each side
and in the centre of each gable, the eaves line being marked by a fascia on
brick dentils, and a moulded stone capital in the 2 middle pilasters at each
end, flush yellow banding in the pilaster at each floor level, the window
openings (receding in height upwards) have stone cills and stone lintels
break cambered relieving-arches. Casements. The west gable has central doors
to each floor, and the south side similar doorways to the 1st and ground
floors. Internal construction of cast-iron columns.
